Hello there Neighbour,

My name is Janice Campbell.  I'm looking to be your next Ward 4 Council representative and I am asking for your VOTE in the upcoming municipal election.

Nice to e-meet you.

I'd like to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation and thanks to our current Ward 4 Councillor Holt for his time, efforts, accomplishments and for a job well done during his 4 year term of office.

However, and respectfully ... I am calling "next".

With your support, I look forward to working with the 2018-2022 City of Windsor Council in service to my constituents and in collaboration with our many engaged citizens as we get ON with the works in progress and the task of strengthening our W4 neighborhoods and further developing our diverse and dynamic Ward 4 municipal programs and services.

Ward Councillor is indeed a privilege, a responsibility and a BOLD undertaking - definitely not for the indecisive, nor for the unprepared.  In terms of "job readiness" I am ideally qualified and can hit the ground running.  I will work hard and immediately advocate for strategic and sustainable investments in our City on behalf of our residents, businesses, visitors and negotiate with our municipal partners and provincial stakeholders.

Thankfully (and like many of you who can offer your own "superpowers" into the mix) I am very well prepared and simply looking to perform my civic duty and take my turn as your advocate and community leader to help ensure good governance and public policy.  I am committed to advocating for cost-effective municipal services for our citizens and for our businesses and to city-build, sustainably while improving our environment - one neighbourhood at a time.

I am a multi-sector entrepreneur w/30 years service in the public sector - trained and experienced in municipal governance, policy, service delivery, asset management, contract/procurement, risk mitigation, budget/audit and people/resource development.  I am a collaborative and strategic problem solver with focus and integrity.

l will represent the constituency in good faith and to the very best of my ability for the next 4 year term, and if we're doing this "equitable democracy thing" right, I have every confidence that someone else from W4 will step UP to call "next" in 2023 ... which will be just and right, keeping true to the core values of expecting honest, open and public transparency in municipal governance and ensuring ultimate accountability.

I believe that people thrive and communities prosper when every citizen is valued and collectively we become a compassionate voice for EVERYBODY - accordingly, I ask for your vote, kind help and best wishes.

Vote CAMPBELL for Council in Ward 4.  Let me "pull the wagon" for the next 4 years and help LEAD the way.

About Me
CAMPBELL for WARD 4
JC Avatar Google BW.jpg

In so many ways I'm just your average, everyday hard-working, family-focused, community-minded, Ward 4 constituent and a quietly proud and part time city booster ... Windsorite.

I've been in the service sector for most of my life and have developed strong community ties, alliances and a valued network of friends, neighbours, business partners and colleagues throughout my 30+ years in many of the W4 neighborhoods.

As a renter (first on Langlois then on Lincoln) and even a local business owner/partner (Serious Moonlight Cafe on the corner of Wyandotte and Moy) back in the day and still later as a homeowner (first on Moy then on Chilver).  As you can see, I've been "around the block".

My immediate family (the 5 of us and our range of pets throughout the years) and I have always enjoyed the people of the city and for us Windsor has been a safe place to raise good kids and has been a wonderful place to call our HOME.

My goal is to become your City Councillor and to use my own particular set of "superpowers" for good and to their highest and best purpose.

I look forward to representing your interests and in dedicating my time and energy in service to the people and the place that I proudly call home - Ward 4 in Windsor, ON.

VOTE - Campbell for Council ... your everyday Ward 4 SuperHERO.
